This interactive and reflective workshop is designed to help leaders and HR professionals develop the skills and CONFIDENCE needed to have some of those tough conversations focused on performance, accountability, retention, workplace behaviours, and upcoming business changes. Workshop host Carrie-Lynn Hotson will help participants identify their own strengths and challenges in managing others. Participants will learn the importance of "Knowing Who You Lead" and will be given tools and strategies to incorporate into their current leadership practices.

Carrie-Lynn Hotson , CHRP, CHRL,  Leadership and HR Specialist

Carrie-Lynn Hotson is an HR Specialist (CHRL), Author, and College Professor. She initially worked for 25 years within a Policing environment mentoring and supporting officers and leaders in a very challenging and changing career. She has extensive experience in HR strategic planning, change management, employee engagement, facilitation, coaching & mediation. She is a published author of Knowing Who You Lead, a book designed to help leaders uncover the issues impacting their organizational success. She owns and operates a business entitled Inspiring Organizational Growth - working with leaders and teams to help them understand why issues are occurring and discover how to utilize leadership strategies to leverage their greatest asset…their employees. She helps teams embrace change and inspires organizational growth.
